A Canadian company.
Built for Canadian care.
Caremynd is a Canadian company building the quiet infrastructure behind residential care — across independent living programs, group homes, treatment centres, and family reunification. Our first tenant is a Canadian residential operator running the full spectrum of programs for young people transitioning into adulthood.
Residential care deserves real software.
For fifteen years, residential care operators have been stitching shelters together with spreadsheets, generic case-management suites designed for probation officers, and billing tools written for dental clinics. None of it fits. None of it respects how trauma-informed, culturally-grounded residential work actually happens.
We are building what we wished existed when we opened our first home.
Canadian residential care deserves real software.
Across Canada, residential operators stitch programs together with spreadsheets, generic case-management tools designed for probation officers, and billing software written for dental clinics. None of it fits trauma-informed, culturally-grounded residential work. Caseworkers carry the paperwork. Young people carry the rest.
We started on Treaty 1 territory because that is where our first tenant runs their programs. Building here — under provincial privacy law, under federal child-welfare obligations, under OCAP® — meant Caremynd had to honour real complexity from day one. The same care it gives Anishinaabe and Cree cultural programming, it gives a fire drill log.
Four non-negotiables.
Language is infrastructure.
We say Indigenous — never "Aboriginal" or "Native". Nation names are specific: Anishinaabe, Cree, Oji-Cree, Dakota, Dene, Métis. Never a default pulldown.
Strength, not deficit.
No resident record starts from what's wrong. Every profile leads with strengths, connections, aspirations. The software cannot be used to frame a young person as a problem.
OCAP® in the schema.
Ownership, control, access, possession. Nation-tagged records cannot be aggregated without consent. Ceremony is never exported to funders without explicit sign-off.
Treaty 1 acknowledgment, daily.
Our office sits on Treaty 1 territory, the traditional lands of the Anishinaabe, Cree, Oji-Cree, Dakota, and Dene peoples, and the homeland of the Red River Métis. This is a relationship, not a footer.
Small, careful, accountable.
Small, safe diffs. Every change reviewed, tested, migration-verified.
Minimum on every package. Playwright E2E for critical flows.
Client notification SLA. Forensic preservation and counsel pre-arranged.
Director round-table with every tenant. Shipping roadmap shaped by the work.
Let's see if the fit is right.
Thirty-minute call. Tell us about your program, your funders, your worst software pain. We'll tell you honestly whether Caremynd is ready for you yet.
